As a sculptor my work has always had two constant themes: religion and archaeology. Each piece is meant convey a sense of history and intimacy. I combine materials - usually ceramic and wood - to create a sense of balance. I always liked working with materials that were as common in the ancient world as they are today.

My most successful sculptures were done as 2 series. The first, Coffins, explored ancient death rituals, sarcophagi and ossuary in ancient Israel and Egypt. The second series, Shrines, explored death rituals from a variety of cultures and religions around the world.

Each series has been exhibited in both national juried exhibitions and one artist shows.
